"My experience with Virus Geeks so far has been educational and fairly smooth with the help of John and Dellaney. They were both very quick to respond at the beginning of the business process and get in contact with me regarding what I needed to do for set up. They were easily accessible both via phone and e mail. Since I am not a fan of e mail, John was instrumental in taking my calls and walking me through whatever questions I had.
At the beginning of the process, I had already had a Zoom regarding Virus Geeks as a company and what type of services they offered, so going into it my college had an idea of what we wanted to use them for to accomplish our goals. The Zoom meeting with our conference Athletic Trainers was extremely beneficial and Informative.
I was a bit hesitant at first because I have not been a part of testing on this scale, and I feel I was more worried about my role in the process. I was worried about the moving parts and what could go wrong. As the process unfolded it seemed quite clear, as I also had a consultant, Gene Holloway, doing a lot of the work for myself and College of the Redwoods in handling the logistics with VG and the set-up of it.
All of my questions were answered with the help of John, Dellaney and Gene. Anytime something came up I was able to get an answer very quickly.
The training videos were also extremely helpful for both me and my staff. I had a couple questions for John, but he cleared them up for me. The logistics seemed straightforward once I watched the videos and got on the admin website it was easy to understand and navigate the site(s). I feel like the registering process was straightforward and I love the fact that I only had to have my student-athletes and staff register once.
I like the ease of this process. Now having done it twice, (testing), it is straightforward and easy to complete, which, in my line of work, is very beneficial. I like how the videos prepared me for the actual testing and it went as smooth as videos made it look.
My current thoughts and feelings on what VG provides/offers, is the out of county testing, which my county cannot accommodate, and the 24-hour labs to accommodate testing. So far, we have gotten our results prior to the 48 hr cutoff which has been nice. I also like the fact that I have the numbers and opportunity to call and get in touch with John if I need to. It feels like VG has invested stake in the success of this process with my college.
If this pandemic continues and College of the Redwoods has to continue testing, I feel confident in going with VG here on out based on the service I have received and the relationships with the professionals I have worked with."

"Our initial call with Virus Geeks was great. Frank, John, and Dellaney took me through the process, answered all of my questions, and followed up to see if any additional questions popped up. Virus Geeks made a very favorable impression from the outset which was a strong factor in selecting them to work with us. Throughout the whole process Virus Geeks has been very responsive. Emails, texts, and phone calls are returned promptly.
The training process was very simple and straightforward. Once our staff was set up with their access, we were quickly able to register samples and provide much more flexibility in our testing schedule. The videos were also great. Simple, clear, and easy to work with.
I am really happy with our decision to partner with Virus Geeks. They are great to work with – flexible, responsive to our needs, and willing to help. Each week, the process seems to get easier and easier.
I highly recommend Virus Geeks to your business or institution. It is a great company to work with, and they have been instrumental in getting out student-athletes and staff back on campus in a safe manner."
